6/18-29/08: Matthew appeared in the Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy musical production of The Robber Bridegroom. He channeled his inner nitwit to play Goat, and managed to lose a few teeth each night in the process! Performances ran June 18-29, Downtown Raleigh at the Kennedy Theatre in the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. |

4/15/08: Matthew shot a Sunoco Gas commercial starring NASCAR Driver Elliot Sadler. In the commercial, Elliot is "undercover" wearing a disguise to promote a new gas giveaway promotion for Sunoco. Look for the hilarious commercial soon!

3/16/08: Matthew played "house" with actress and friend Joan LeTourneau for an Anderson Homes advertising campaign. Matthew was cast to play hubby and house owner for the photography campaign! Photography by Scott Rucci Productions.

3/16/08: Matthew frequently co-hosted Festival 2008 on UNC-TV! Festival is the annual pledge drive for public television viewers, and raises funding for the quality programming aired on UNC-TV. |

2/16/08: Matthew and his performing partner Hilary Russo helped celebrate the re-opening of the Paramount Theatre Saturday, February 16th! They kicked off fundraising for the Paramount Theatre's reconstruction in 2006 with their sold-out concert titled Love Notes.

1/08/08: Matthew and Hilary met with David Weil to donate a glicee of the original Paramount Theatre painting created by Brenda Behr during the 2006 Love Notes concert. The painting is special to the duo because they first met doing a show at the original Paramount years ago, and they look forward to seeing it on the walls of the new Paramount once it opens.

11/11/07: Matthew and Hilary co-hosted the annual Crime Stoppers Telethon on Saturday, November 10th, 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The telethon is a tradition in Wayne County, and significantly helps raise money for crime tips to the police.
